Ph.D. Student
Christos is a Ph.D. student in the David Rockefeller Graduate Program in Biosciences. He received his BSc degree at Ecole Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay, followed by a M.Sc degree at the same institution (with honors). As an undergraduate, he worked in Dr. Shahragim Tajbakhsh’s laboratory at the Pasteur Institute studying the dynamics of symmetric and asymmetric divisions of muscle stem cells. Prior to joining Rockefeller’s Ph.D. program, Christos worked as a research assistant in Dr. Ya-Chieh Hsu’s laboratory at Harvard University, where he investigated the effects of radiation therapy on skin stem cells. In the Cohen lab, Christos is investigating how brain-adipose tissue communication regulates whole body physiology and metabolism. Outside the lab, Christos enjoys playing board games, traveling and watching new shows and movies.
